Medical education attracts the best brains and they work for the betterment of the society, Chhattisgarh Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo said on Wednesday.
He was addressing a workshop at the government Dental College here.
Chief guest at a workshop, Singh Deo said students here will provide new direction to health services in the near future.
Students should take good advantage of such workshops so that they get a chance to serve patients in a better way, he said.
Later, Singh Deo met the housekeeping staff and security guards in the hospital and inspected their Provident Fund books to check if the contractor is giving them proper allowances.
He discussed with the college administration the institution’s requirements.
